Every year I do Christmas cards, I design them as they are ordered. This year, I decided to make it easy on my clients and give 10 beautiful designs to choose from. Any of the following cards can be designed as a 4x8 or 5x7 photo card or a 5x7 flat 2-sided press card. Just let me know the number of the design you like, your greeting and some colors can be customized to match the photograph you choose.

4x8 Photo cards w/ envelopes - $1.00 each (25 minimum)
5x7 Photo cards w/ envelopes - $1.50 each (25 minimum)
5x7 flat 2-sided card w/ envelopes - $2.00 each (ordered in packs of 25)

Family Photography - Neill Family

It's been a while since I've photographed this family. In fact, they were a family of three the last time we officially had a session. With the addition of a little girl, they are just the most adorable little family. We had the best time with them in Unionville a few weeks ago.

Murfreesboro wedding photography - Megan and Michael

I am so behind in blogging weddings this year. But rest assured, I'll get them all up!

Megan and Michael had a gorgeous wedding back in August. We had to deal with a little bit of rain right after the ceremony but all in all, the weather was pretty good. The ceremony was at St. Paul's Episcopal Church off the square in Murfreesboro. With the reception at one of my favorite places, Oaklands.

What a beautiful couple!!

When you're a bride, one of the most important things is the flowers. Megan's dad owns Murfreesboro Flower Shop, so she knew the flowers would be beautiful and they were. The cake from Julia's Bakery.

Oaklands is such a great place for photos. Even with the rain, we were able to get on the porch for some cool shots with the wedding party.

Megan would make the best model!! And Michael's no slouch either!

A couple years ago, I had the privilege to photography Lindsey and Nick's wedding. They are great friends of Megan and Michael and the maid of honor and best man.

The reception was awesome. Probably one of my favorite reception shots ever.

Off to the honeymoon!

Engagement Photography - Elizabeth and Tim

I've known Elizabeth for quite a while. In fact, a babysat her and her sister a time or two when I was in high school. So just imagine how old I felt while shooting her engagement session. She and Tim will be getting married in just a week and I'm looking forward to sharing their special day with them.

Murfreesboro High School Senior Photography - Zach

What a great time I had with Zach. He had specific ideas of what he wanted and I loved it. Its great when guys (or girls) bring a guitar, but Zach couldn't pick out his favorite so he brought three. I also have to thank him for finding this amazing red wall. You'll definitely see more pictures there.

Jenna and Joel got married on a very special day - my birthday! But I won't be so selfish, it wasn't all about me. The wedding was perfect. I drive by First Baptist Church almost on a daily basis, but have never been inside. So I stopped by the day before the wedding to take a look around. Wow, it is an incredible church. A bit like a maze but so many great little nooks for pictures. This got me really excited because we had planned lots of time for pictures. I had so much fun and Jenna and Joel's engagement session and again at Jenna's bridal, the wedding was just as great. Thanks for letting me share my birthday with you two!!

Diamonds and pearls, you can't get much more bridal than that.

We spent sometime outside the church and the sun was in the perfect place. This is my favorite "guy" shot ever.

The flowers were beautiful. And combined with the blush color of the dresses, they made for a great combination.

A lot of churches have libraries but they don't look like a "real" library. When I saw this one with the windows, I knew we had to do some photos in their. Jenna and Joel were up to the challenge and I love how they turned out.

Gorgeous details, some from the church and some from the reception.

We had a bit of time between the church and the reception to stop by the square for some sunset photos.

Baby Photography - Paisley

Paisley - don't you just love that name for a baby girl!! And how about little chubby babies, just the cutest. Her mom and brother came by the studio for a maternity session a few months ago and its just amazing how time flies to see this beautiful baby girl at her 3 month session. Just a doll!!

A few years ago I had the pleasure of photographing Bob and Katy's wedding. Now they have added a beautiful new addition to the family - Taylor. Two-week old baby Taylor was not so into modeling that day but I've got a feeling she's going to be photographed a lot at home and will probably get used to it. Congratulations, she is gorgeous!!

Delaney is not quite two yet, but to take advantage of the beautiful weather, mom wanted to do a mini-session outside and then we'll do her actually 2 year session closer to her birthday. I can't believe what a little girl she is. No longer a baby!! And I always enjoy the kisses and hugs I get from her!

10 years

Today is the anniversary of 10 years being married to my incredible husband. There have been tough times and wonderful times. But I wouldn't change any of it.

Ten years ago today, I stood in front of all our friends and family and swore to love, honor, and cherish him for the rest of my life. No one could have told me that I could possibly love him more than I did on that day. I was full of excitement for the new life we would share together and for what was to come. My heart was filled with joy.

As I think back to our wedding day, I have to go through everything that has happened in the past 10 years and realize how foolish I was to think I couldn't love him more. He has supported me in everything I've wanted to do. All the crazy ideas. Constantly wanting to paint something a different color. The quitting my steady, paying job to open a photo studio. Helping me at weddings and portrait sessiosn when I know he would rather be somewhere else but never complaining. He has pushed me to step out of my comfort zone on more than one occasion to do things I never would have even thought about doing.

And now as the father of our child, I see him in an even different way. He is the most amazing father and patient man. Making me love him more and more daily. Don't get me wrong, it has not been all a romantic dream. Marriage is work, but for every tough moment, there are two amazing moments, making it all worth it.

To Trey: Thank you for loving me in spite of me, always looking over my mistakes. You are the most wonderful husband, the best father to our son, amazing man and pastor that I could have asked for. Thank you for falling in love with me. I am and always will be smitten!! I love you.

Murfreesboro Wedding Photography - Ashley and Chris

Ashley and Chris had a beautiful July wedding. It was a Saturday that had incredible weather. We were able to do a lot of outside photos. I've had a number of weddings at First United Methodist, but this is the first time the reception has been there as well. The decorations were beautiful. Lots of details and beautiful flowers by Nila Gail Hunton. The wedding cake and very unique groom's cake by the always wonderful Maples Wedding Cakes.

Ashley's dress came from the White Room and fit her perfectly. Instead of a veil she added just a simple lily in her hair.

I love seeing inscriptions when I take pictures of rings. Ashley had put a simple "I Love You" in Chris' ring.

The wedding party was so much fun. After a formal picture, they just crowded around the bride and groom for lots of well wishes and congratulations.

Ashley chose such wonderful colors and details for the wedding. These are just a few of them.

A beautiful first dance for the bride and groom.

murfreesboro baby photography - Claire

Little mis Claire recently turned 3 months old. She is just getting prettier. I like to include parents in the 3 month session, since the child cannot sit up on its own and it shows the bond between a new parent with the baby.

I just had to include this one because I think its just the cutest "crying" picture I've ever taken.

Nashville Wedding Photographer - Katherine & James

Last year I had the pleasure of traveling to Belle Meade to photograph Katherine and James's engagement session in anticipation of their wedding in June. We had so much fun getting to know one another, and their wedding was a beautiful celebration of love and family. Even with high heat and humidity, the couple looked cool and composed in their photos (I can't say the same for myself). It was a great day working with McNeal Video. Working together to make it a great experience for the couple with wonderful memories to share for years to come.

This photo was captured of Katherine while she was getting ready, I just love it.

There was some incredible lighting at this church. The veil was worn by the groom's mother and then by the groom's sister. It is just so special when an heirloom can be passed down like that and such a beautiful one at that.

Why is this photo so big?? It is one of my favorite photos. I have a slight obsession with stair cases, I think it has something to do with my love for "Gone with the Wind" and Scarlet walking down the stairs toward Rhett.

Newborn Baby Photography - Emmaline

The pleasure of photographing someone's wedding is just hightened when, sometime later, they contact me to photograph their newborn. Baby Emmaline's session at 7 days old could not have gone better. She ate a little and then slept so that I could pose and move her as needed. What a beautiful baby and such excited new parents. She is just perfect!! Welcome to the world.
